I will take pics in a day or so. I've never posted pics here but I'll give it a go. These are reallll simple mods and made a BIG difference in my coach.

RE: WW Repairs
Well I got my WW FS2500 back yesterday from the WW factory in Cali. They had a truck deliver it to my house and I have to say I am VERY VERY happy with work they did.
Sorry, didn't see this post when I posted above! OOPS!!!! Great news. I have spoken to Jamie and Jim several times in the past 2 weeks. They don't know if the company will survive but they have been very upfront with me concerning my questions and getting my coach back to me. Heres' hoping.....
Yep Ive been talking to Jamie, Jim and Mark about the company and my trailer. Mark even answers his own phone when he is at his desk. They where great people do deal with and made sure I got my trailer back when I needed it. All the work I needed done was done great.
Trailer was washed inside and out carpet cleaned and vacuumed and floors cleaned. I am very happy. My trailer is over 2 years old also, so I believe I was actually out of warranty

Hoorray!!!My coach arrived today at noon!. My floor is unbelieveable compared to original, just like the garages on the fivers!. Frame was braced underneath to keep the spring hangers from flexing, prophylactic fix to the tongue although not needed, roof completetly resealed, new bench seat that I damaged (I didn't ask for half of these things!) Fridge ran all the way from Cali to Galveston!!!...no problems!!! I have to say I was VERY skeptical that I would even see my coach again without a major brewhaha,..........butttttttttttt it's here and I'm impressed. I should also qualify this by saying it should have been like this from the begining. I had to do something unmentionable on this forum to achieve this response. But cheers to jim Goodwin & Jamie & owner Mark Warmouth......Thanks again for trying to bring this thing out of the mire and make it what it should be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To all of those that have FS2300 & FS2500's frame twisting that did not get fixed. The bracing is very simple. Square tubing between all six spring hangers from side to side. Extra outriggers between wheels, and some extra bracing on all other outriggers. They even did the class action beef up on the tongue (not needed, I had the thicker tongue already). I just got back from a 300 mile roundtrip loaded to over 8k. This thing pulls soooo much better than before. All the extra stiffening helped more than one area. the trailer used to bounce badly at the tongue, no more. It tracks well also. the spring hangers were obviously flexing from side to side. I am very picky about how a trailer tows. These mods couldn't be more than $400.00 with the steel. i would highly recommend it on all these coaches '06 to '08. the '09's have these things done from the factory.
RE: WW Repairs
Kent in Texas,
Please know I am happy for you, but also I need your help to know how to go about doing what you did to get WW to fix my 2007 FS 2300 (which was one year old yesterday and sitting at dealership for past 4 months.)
What do you mean "unmentionable?" What did you do? I need your help! I'll do it too!
WW just keeps talking down to me and passing me off.
Does WW treat men owners differently from women owners? Are there any women owners out there that have gotten the repairs done? If they cheat women owners and not men owners, can one of you guys call WW for me and talk tough? Guess they aren't worried about a 5'4" tall woman cutomer?
Jamie was going to find Max Villa about my repairs and never called back. Jim Goodwin has all the info on my trailer and never called back, never answers my calls either. (Curious though that Jim talks to you guys?) His new boy from Rag'N, Dave Montti, told me and a dealer representative that I could get a lawyer and sue my dealership in Fayetteville, GA. My dealer, Scotty, in Georgia said WW is "P.O.'d" with him for telling them to come get their 12 new units off his lot because he's not selling them with "no warranty" and that's why WW is trying to make him the fall guy.
Montti said "he never touched my coach, that I have to go back to my dealer for repairs." (It's been at a dealership for 4 months awaiting approval from WW for the warranty repairs.) Of couse that's true, Dave was working for Rag'N last year and couldn't have "touched my coach" and at that time I was being given the WW run around by Shawn who no longer works for WW. But, dear Dave Montti, your new company built my defective "coach" before you got there. I know you, Dave, "didn't touch my coach," but the guy paying you did, he built it which is what a lawyer can explain to you.
So, guys, can you help me or not?

email me @ kentcox01@earthlink.net. Can't discuss certain things on this forum. I slid in just before they stopped taking warranty work.

RE: WW Repairs
Well with WW closing doors until the after the 4th of July weekend and stopping all warranty work at dealers, from what I have heard that is. I wonder what is going on with my FS2500 that is at their factory getting fixed. I talked to Jim I guess it was on Monday about what was going on and at that time I said they where hoping to get my trailer back to me before July 11th weekend so I can go on the trip I have planned but with the Tues and Wed events with them closing im wondering whats going to happen. Its not like I can go pick my trailer up, its 1700 miles away from me...
J
Did you get your coach back yet? Mine supposedly shipped wednesday afternoon, arriving sometime today (July 11). I'm hoping mine was repaired as well as some others that have posted here!!
RE: WW Repairs
My 2007 WW FS2500 Superlite was picked up today at 8:00 am by a F350 Dually and the driver said he would have the trailer at WW on Friday.
J
Call Max or Jamie on Monday or Tuesday to find out what is being done and when it will be finished.
Anyone know Mark's or Jamie's extension ? I have tried Max and he does not return my calls.
Thanks,
J
Max's extension is 140
Marks extension is 113
Jamie's is 165, Jamie has been very nice and helpful. So if you are angry take it easy on her... lol
OOooo NO Im not angry at all..... They have been GREAT to me. I know with everything going on its hard to get a hold of people. I actually emailed MARK, which I know the email does not go directly to him but it got to Jamie and she emailed me back and confirmed the list of items I need them to look at and said they have it marked HOT and they are hoping to get it done by July 11th.
I have to say with something major happening like this I am glad I got a WW and glad MARK is the kind of guy who wants to make his customers happy.
J
Yes they have been good. I talked to Jamie yesterday and she gave me a date of the 26th for completion. I explained I was going on a camping trip the 27th (now the 28th) and she moved my trailer up and it will be done Monday and I will get it the 26th.
We will see when it comes back how happy I am. but I think everything will be fine.
Well mine is supposed to be ready the 27th (I hope). Talked to Jamie a couple times myself, she's on top of as much as she can be. Her boss is Jim Goodwin @ ext165, but I think she fields all the calls. I haven't talked to him yet, only Max, and Max told me Jim was taking these jobs over for him.
RE: WW Repairs
Just so everyone knows. The issues with the frames of the fs2500 has almost nothing to do with weight, unless it is the tongue that needs fixin. The bending and breaking behind the rear axles is due to the lack of cross bracing from bottom of c-channal to cross members. this results in when a trailer is turning and the rear axles starts to cut, the leaf hangers are welded to the bottom of the c-channel, the the frame starts to tweak because there is no bracing. The fix from the factory clearly shows no signs of weight reinforcement but lateral reinforcement. I hope I explained that well enough. If you look and any other trailer frame you can clearly see that this was one thing was over looked in the manufacturing.
If you have questions on the fix from my fs2500 just let me know.
I would like to know what they did to yours if you do care to share. I'm sure there are others here that would like to hear also. There a lot of fs 2300 & 2500's out there with structural problems.
RE: WW Repairs
I have frame issues behind the rear wheels also with my '07 fs 2500. Max WAS my contact until a few days ago. He told me they moved him and someone else would be contacting me. But 3 days after first talking to Max, They picked up my trailer in Dickinson, Texas (near Houston). That was May 28. If they go BK wonder what happens if your trailer is in their possession? SOL??? The driver that picked up my trailer told me that a BUNCH of fs2500's were headed back or were already there being repaired. All with the same problems, frame broken or bent at or behind rear wheels. I only used mine for mountain biking at first (no weight). but the first time I put 800 lbs behind the rear wheels, the siding popped off and the inside walls buckled. They knew this was too flimsy from the start. I don't think there could really be such a thing as a "half-ton towable toyhauler". Only if you don't put anything in it!! Max did also make me a bunch of promises on different repairs also. Hope it comes true. good luck to everyone dealing with this situation.

RE: Water leak in WW F2500
Trace the leak with a garden hose. Start with sections bottom first then work your way up. Have your wife inside checking for leaks. Keep the hose in a certain section at a time for a good 5 minutes even if there are no leaks. Then move on to the next section but remember work from bottom first then up. It may take a while but you will find the leak, be patient and remember to soak each section for a good 5 minutes at a time.. Water takes awhile to find it's path but once it does it will start flowing like a river. Once you find it I'm sure you will know what to do to seal it up have fun and good luck.Did it, found it. It's the left rear window above the vent door. Pulled the window and removed the foam gasket. Replaced with butyl tape-putty that the local rv dealer recommended. No more leaks, for now. Good thing there wasn't any cabinets or couches mounted to walls, would have made this job worse than it was. Thanks for the suggestion......
RE: need help finding t-hauler
Hi everybody,
I don't want to hijack this thread but I'm in the same boat. Looking for a nice trouble free TH. There are soooooo many out there. It's hard to keep track of them all (yes I did look at the links page, Thanks).
The wife wants one with a warranty, but it looks like that will cost me an extra 10k. I'm thinking do I really need a new TH w/a warranty, 10k can buy a lot of repairs on a used unit.
Maybe it would be easier to tell me what NOT to buy. I looked at a Carson trailer, looks kinda cheap. I don't need top of the line but would like something in the middle.
Thanks in advance for any help.No such luck with trouble free. Just seems to be luck of the draw most of the time. What was good last year is just so-so this year, and so on. I've had ok, and Ive had worse. Trouble-free seems to be a relative term in the rv industry. Read these forums for alot of days before looking, then look again. I know this is not much help, but I think it's the truth of rv buying. Good luck...
RE: WW FS 2500 Floor rotting
Yes we do. I believe it only applies to three or more trips to the dealer for the exact same documented problem in the first twelve months of ownership from new (how lame is this with an rv!). I am investigating this also. If a car were built this poorly they would be out of business in no time. thanks for the tip....
Can't speak for texas, but Cali has a time frame clause too. That may be worth investigating.
Anyone tell me how to reply w/o copy and paste?Click the "quote" in the right top of the post you want to "quote" from and it will appear in the box for you to type your response in. Texas does have a time frame, it is 24 months from time of purchase new. I have been reading about the texas lemon law today (after eating!!) I may have a case. But I don't know if we're allowed to talk about it on the forums. Maybe a moderator will chime in and correct me if needed. Don't want to overstep my bounds...
RE: WW FS 2500 Floor rotting
Do you have lemon law in Texas? Why mess around!Yes we do. RE: WW FS 2500 Floor rotting
Well, the saga continues. Floor is fixed, but still has a water leak, just below a window. Anyone know about the window sealer? I was told it was foam and shrinks and leaks. Can't believe the dealer that fixed the floor couldn't find it! Any help would be appreciated.
Water leak in WW F2500
I posted about this problem a few months ago. It took the reapir facilty this long to get it repaired and paid for by WW. I STILL have the water leak at the left rear of the trailer. Has anyone seen this?? I am really DONE with this problem, 2 shops, one fixes one problem, the other fixes another, neither can find the water leak. I think it is one of the rear windows above the stupid vent door at the bottom of the trailer. Anyone know how to rmovw these windows and reseal? I was told WW uses foam for sealing the windows against the aluminum siding which shrinks and leaks. I think the water is coming in around one or both windows. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
